OKLAHOMA CITY -

Two men crashed their car on the 1200 block of West Reno while leading troopers and police officers on a high speed chase Sunday morning.

Police say they tried pull over Torray Andre Payne and Daryl Taylor on a traffic stop when the two men tried to get away from police. A spokeswoman says speeds exceeded 100 miles per hour at one point.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol took over for the chase just before the men crashed into a natural gas meter.

That's when they tried to make a run for it but were arrested. Police say they found a large amount of drugs and money in the car.
