A thief broke into a business in southwest Oklahoma City and got away with more than $50,000.
Police say last Friday, someone in a hooded sweatshirt cut a hole in the roof, then busted through drywall to get to the safe inside the Barri Financial Group, located on S.W. 29th Street near Interstate 44.
According to police, the thief got in to the safe and stole more than $48,000 in U.S. currency, and nearly $4,000 worth of Mexican pesos.
The company's district manager said the only way someone could get into the safe was to know the combination.
Police have not made any arrested in this case. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at (405)-235-7300.
