California Non-Profit Helps Family Of Missing Blanchard Woman

A non-profit organization based in California is lending advice to family and friends of a missing Blanchard woman.

Jaymie Adams disappeared on December 9. Since then, police have questioned her husband and now homicide detectives are investigating the case as a murder. Yet, 17 days later, experts say her loved ones should not give up their search.

The only trace of 25-year-old Jaymie Adams was her car left here in an Oklahoma City McDonald's parking lot. Facebook friends feel the case has grown cold, but Brad Dennis, who advocates for the lost, says bringing this missing mother home isn't impossible.

"We have seen what social networking can do by taking a look at the country overseas. Entire governments have been overthrown by the pressure of social networking," said Brad Dennis of KlaasKids Foundation, which advocates for missing people.

Dennis believes Jaymie's loved ones are on the right track by creating Facebook page to help her. There are nearly 1,000 people who have liked the page and shared information.

"As soon as you begin to give up hope, all the momentum that you have gained at the beginning, if your search begins to fade away. Never giving up hope. Keep the pressure on everyone," Dennis said.

Pressure is also on Jaymie's husband, who police interrogated last week. After reading a tearful statement to reporters, he hired a lawyer.

"If there is anything that we can do to cooperate and help, we will. But my client is not going to be accused unless there is factual information," the lawyer said.

The facts in the case are unclear. Sources tell us police reviewed cell phone records from Jaymie Adams' husband. He told police Jaymie allegedly posted ads on craigslist providing massages and other personal favors before she went missing. All are valuable clues according to Klaaskids foundations.
