TULSA, Oklahoma -

A man police say killed two people last week is dead, but the pain his actions caused others is still very much alive.

Victoria Turcios, who was shot and killed by her estranged husband, left two teenage boys behind. Boys who are grappling with the loss of their mother and the responsibilities she can no longer shoulder.

A family member contacted The News On 6 to let people know a memorial fund has been set up to help relieve some of the distress of Turcios' 18- and 15-year-old sons. Donations can be sent to the Victoria Turcios Memorial Fund at any Bank of Oklahoma location.

Terencio Turcios, 41, shot and killed himself Friday, December 16, 2011, as authorities went to arrest him in Houston. He fled to Texas after shooting his estranged wife and David Grummert of Glenpool.
