LINCOLN COUNTY, Oklahoma -- The 5.6 magnitude earthquake shook Oklahoma fast and in some areas with force. The Lincoln County Emergency Management sent a team out to assess the damage.

"The damage we're seeing is superficial," said Joey Wakefield with the Lincoln County Emergency Management team. "We're seeing a lot of fireplaces falling over, bricks falling, sheet rock cracked."

The epicenter was located about nine miles northwest of Prague. The closer to the epicenter, the more intense the damages are.

"They were scared to death, my grandkids were scared to death," said Cathy Lindsay, a resident of Lincoln County.

Lindsay wasn't home when the earthquake hit, but her family was. When she got home, the majority of the bricks on the outside of her home were on the ground, shaken right off the wall. Unfortunately, she doesn't have insurance.

"I don't know what we're going to do, I honestly don't," Lindsay said.

Down the road, Patsy Bowder is also cleaning up. She was sitting in her living room when the earthquake rattled her home, which sent her entire fireplace crumbling down around her.

"I'm 71 years old, and I beat the dust out the door," Bowder said.

Unlike others, Bowder did have earthquake insurance. Being from California, she did it just in case.

"It will happen again," she said.

Three people in Lincoln County suffered minor injuries during Saturday's earthquake.
