OKLAHOMA CITY -- A former Oklahoma City police officer charged with sexually abusing his adopted and foster children bonded out of jail Tuesday, September 20.
Maurice Martinez walked out of the Oklahoma County jail and raised his arms in triumph. The former police officer maintains he is innocent, and says the truth will come out now that he's out of jail.
A judge set bond Monday for Martinez at $175,000. While he is out on bond, he will have to wear an ankle monitor to track his whereabouts.
Martinez is charged with more than a dozen counts of sexual abuse. He has pleaded not guilty to all counts.
