THE VILLAGE, Oklahoma -- Firefighters responded to a fully-involved house fire in The Village Sunday afternoon.
The fire broke out in the 1700 block of Brighton Ave. shortly after 5 p.m.
The homeowner told fire officials that she had smelled smoke off and on all afternoon. She went outside to water her bushes and when she approached the house, she noticed fire on porch.
By the time firefighters arrived, the attic of the home was fully involved.
Firefighters from Nichols Hills and Oklahoma City assisted the Village Fire Department.
Though no damage estimates were released by investigators on the scene, the home appeared to be a total loss. Investigators have not determined a cause, but believe the point of origin to be near the home's porch.
No injuries were reported.
