OKLAHOMA CITY -- A fourth American Red Cross team has left Oklahoma to help residents on the East Coast who are expecting to be slammed by Hurricane Irene.

A two-person team left the American Red Cross headquarters in Oklahoma City at 8 a.m. Friday morning. They are heading to Massachusetts.  Two teams from Tulsa and one team from Enid left Wednesday morning, but they're in North Carolina.

All the teams will provide hurricane preparation and response. They could stay on the East Coast up to four weeks.

Hurricane Irene weakened slightly Friday morning to a Category 2 storm with sustained winds of 110 mph.  The National Hurricane Center says it could regain strength in the next couple of days.

Hurricane Irene is expected to batter several states, and hurricane warnings have been issued from North Carolina to New Jersey.
