ADA, Oklahoma -- A wildfire near the racetrack destroyed one structure and blackened a large area Saturday afternoon, the Ada Fire Department reported.

A witness said a trailer went up in flames as well as surrounding brush and trees on the north side of Ada.

Firefighters had to call for assistance from the National Guard.  Witnesses said one helicopter made several air drops to help bring the blaze under control.

No injuries were reported in the fire and firefighters say at least 60 acres were consumed.
