OKLAHOMA CITY -- Animals are suffering through Oklahoma's record-breaking heat just like humans are, so the Oklahoma City Zoo is doing its best to give its inhabitants some relief.

On Wednesday, zookeepers gave frozen juice and giant popsicles filled with fruit to the gorillas and chimps.

While other animals chowed down on frozen treats, baby elephant Malee stayed cool by taking a dip in a small, inflatable pool while zoo workers soaked her with water from a hose.

The temperature soared to 107 degrees Wednesday in Oklahoma. The temperature is expected to be above 100 again Thursday.
