Shots Fired During Monday Home Invasion In Southwest OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police say a man burst into an apartment Monday morning and started shooting.

The home invasion happened around 8:10 a.m. in the 5900 block of S. May Avenue. After the man fired the shots, he ran away.

No one was hit by the gunfire.

Oklahoma City police officers are searching for the suspect on the ground while police helicopter Air One circles the area.

Police aren't saying if anything was stolen during the home invasion.
