OKLAHOMA CITY -- As the top-ranked player in the state of Oklahoma, Barry Sanders, Jr. has garnered plenty of interest from colleges all over the nation. The Heritage Hall senior has taken summer visits to Florida State and Auburn and appreciates the opportunity to travel.
"[It gives me] an opportunity to see the world, like I've always wanted to do," Sanders said.
Despite being the No. 9 running back in the nation, No. 121 overall, a four-star recruit and the top-ranked recruit in the state of Oklahoma, Sanders has spent the offseason working on not just the physical part of his game.
"The mental aspect," Sanders, Jr. said. "Going both ways, you have to be strong in the fourth quarter and that's something that I really need to work hard on, because it definitely gets challenging."
