OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City RedHawks' three-game winning streak came to an end Thursday with an 8-2 loss to the Albuquerque Isotopes.

The RedHawks (29-39) never led, but they stayed close for most of the game. That changed in the eighth inning.

Leading 3-2, the Isotopes (38-29) put together a two-out rally that blew the game open. Four consecutive batters reached base, highlighted by a two-run double from Ivan De Jesus.

The rally resulted in a total of four runs to stretch the lead to 7-2. Albuquerque added one more run in the ninth to finish the scoring.

The RedHawks connected on 11 hits, but could never seem to string enough of them together. Their first run came in the first inning on an RBI single by Anderson Hernandez that tied the game 1-1, but they were held scoreless for the next six innings.

Brian Bogusevic finally got OKC back on the board with an RBI single in the seventh to cut the lead to one, which seemed to set the game up for a close finish. But the Isotopes killed that hope with their late run.

Sergio Perez (4-5) finished with a loss despite holding Albuquerque to three runs in 5.2 innings. Randy Keisler (3-2) earned a win after allowing just one run on six hits in 5.1 innings. Pat Urckfitz had a rough outing in relief for OKC, allowing four runs on four hits in his only inning.

The RedHawks had won the previous three games against the division-leading Isotopes, but Thursday's loss ended their five-game series. The RedHawks will remain in Oklahoma City for four-game series against the New Orleans Zephyrs, starting at 7:05 p.m. Friday.
