Trial Begins For Guthrie Teen Accused Of Plotting Dad's Murder

GUTHRIE, Oklahoma -- The murder trial has begun in Logan County for a teenage girl accused of convincing her boyfriend to kill her father.

Prosecutors say then 15-year-old Kaleigh Fryer asked her boyfriend, Jerry Chiles, to kill Lewis Fryer.

Prosecutors say Kaleigh Fryer showed 21-year-old Chiles where the knives were located in the kitchen, then left a door to the house unlocked on May 13, 2010.

Chiles confessed to stabbing Lewis Fryer in the neck and back. He agreed to testify against his former girlfriend in exchange for a life sentence.
