NORMAN, Oklahoma – More metro school districts have decided how they will make up snow days.
Starting February 28 in Norman, school days will be 40 minutes longer. That schedule will go through May 11. Students will also attend school on Presidents Day, which was previously a holiday.
The day will also get longer for students in the Putnam City district. Also starting the 28, 30 minutes will be added to each day, with schools starting 10 minutes earlier and ending 20 minutes later. That schedule will be in place in Putnam City through the end of the school year on May 24.
But in the Mid-del school district, students don't have to make up any days missed because the district planned ahead.
The school board already added time to their school days before the year ever started.
