FBI Searching For Edmond Bank Robber

The FBI is searching for a man who robbed a bank in Edmond Wednesday afternoon.

EDMOND, Oklahoma – The FBI is searching for a man who robbed a bank in Edmond Wednesday afternoon.

FBI agents said at about 3:30 p.m. a man walked in to the City National Bank at 15th Street and Santa Fe Avenue. He handed the teller a note demanding money which stated ""Hi, I need stacks of hundreds, fiftys, twentys. After you give me the money go to the backroom." After getting the cash, the robber walked away from the bank on foot.

Witnesses say they never saw a weapon.

The robber is described as a white male, in his fifties, 5'10" to 5'11" in height, 160 to 170 pounds. He was wearing an orange colored, baseball style cap, a blue jacket, black glasses, blue jeans and dark colored shoes.

The Oklahoma Banker's Association offers up to $2,000.00 for information leading to the identification, arrest and/or conviction of anyone robbing a member bank.
