OKLAHOMA CITY -- An alert neighbor prevented a possible burglary in Northwest Oklahoma City Monday.

Jeff Buller said he saw two teenagers walking down the street near Northwest 11th Street and May Avenue. He told police he followed them to a house where they both jumped a fence. That's when he called police and confronted the teens.

He said the teens didn't try to run or put up a fight, and he was just doing the same thing any other neighbor would have done.

"Here in this neighborhood, people have been around for years and years and years, and we watch out for each other. It's something if someone sees something suspicious, they take care of the next guy," Buller said.

Both teens were taken into custody. It is not yet know if any charges will be filed against the teens.
