Gas Prices Jumped Over 14 Cents Last Week

Average gas prices in Oklahoma City have risen 14.2 cents per gallon in the past week. Gas was averaging at $2.74 per gallon as of Sunday.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Average gas prices in Oklahoma City have risen 14.2 cents per gallon in the past week. Gas was averaging at $2.74 per gallon as of Sunday.

Prices Sunday in OKC were 28 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 11.7 cents per gallon higher than one month ago.

Nationally, gas prices have risen 8.4 cents per gallon with a national average of $2.94 per gallon.

Denver had the lowest average price among cities surveyed at $2.61 a gallon for regular. Long Island, NY, was highest among surveyed areas at $3.21.

Diesel was at $3.23, up about a half cent.
