Burning Food Sparks House Fire In Northeast OKC

Oklahoma City firefighters were called to the scene of a house fire in northeast Oklahoma City at about 1 a.m. Sunday.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Food left on a stove was blamed on an overnight house fire in Northeast Oklahoma City. Firefighters were called to the scene in the 2000 block of Northeast 28th Street at about 1 a.m.

Fortunately, no one was at home at the time, and firefighters were able to get the flames knocked down pretty quickly.
