OKLAHOMA CITY -- The rain and thunderstorms we have had today have been quite welcome. Some very dry areas of western Oklahoma have seen over two inches of rainfall so far.

The storm system responsible for the rain is still to our west. Rain chances will be possible until it moves east of us which will be during the day on Saturday.

The National Weather Service has canceled a tornado watch for Comanche, Cotton, Garvin, Jackson, Jefferson, Stephens and Tillman counties. The watch remained in effect until 10 p.m. Friday for Carter, Love and Murray counties.

It will be windy on Saturday. It will also be dry for western parts of the state while the east and especially the southeast will have rain and thunderstorm chances into the afternoon.

This system will move east by Saturday night.
