OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma County Sheriff's Deputy arrested a man after a traffic stop, where the deputy determined the vehicle was stolen, and a short pursuit.

The sheriff's deputy first noticed a pickup truck without a license plate near the intersection of S.W. 30th Street and S. Virginia Avenue. The deputy pulled the driver over and asked for his license.

The driver, identified as Bobby Bordeaux, did not have a license but gave the deputy a name. When the deputy went to check the name and VIN of the truck in his patrol car, it came up that the truck was stolen.

Bordeaux took off on foot before the deputy came back to the truck. Oklahoma City police assisted in the search and the 36-year-old suspect was captured near S.W. 29th Street and Kentucky.

Bordeaux was booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on complaints of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle and driving a motor vehicle without a license. His bail was set at $5,000.00.
