Tyler Perry Exhausted, Cancels Tour Date in Oklahoma City

Director, actor and writer Tyler Perry has canceled the Oklahoma City performance of his play "Madea's Big Happy Family." It was scheduled to be performed November 26 at the Ford Center.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Director, actor and writer Tyler Perry has canceled the Oklahoma City performance of his play "Madea's Big Happy Family." It was scheduled to be performed November 26 at the Ford Center.

According to a news release, Perry is "physically exhausted" after participating in 154 performances of the play this year. He has canceled the remaining dates on the tour.

Perry also spent much of this year producing and directing the movie "For Colored Girls" starring Whoopi Goldberg, Janet Jackson and Thandie Newton.

Tickets ordered by phone or online will automatically be refunded. Fans can also get refunds at the Ford Center box office or any of the Ticketmaster outlets.
