Warr Acres Police: Woman Arrested After Robbing Liquor Store, Attempting to Mace Officer

Warr Acres police said they have arrested a woman after she robbed a liquor store and led officers on a short chase.

WARR ACRES, Oklahoma – Warr Acres police said they have arrested a woman after she robbed a liquor store and led officers on a short chase.

Major Osborn with the Warr Acres Police Department said shortly after 1 p.m. Monday, a robbery was reported at a liquor store near N.W. 49th street and MacArthur Boulevard.

Police found the suspect's vehicle and were led on a short chase down N.W. 50th Street ending in a park, where the suspect, Belinda Williams, struck a light pole.

Williams and a 10-year-old and three-year-old ran from the scene. The 30-year-old tried to mace an officer, but they tased Williams and placed her under arrest.

Officer caught the children. They were taken back to the police station and a family member picked them up.
