Kids Learn Safety First with Walk to School Day

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Thousands of school children in Oklahoma stepped off the bus or car and put their feet in motion for international Walk to School Day.

Oklahoma joined kids and adults in 42 countries celebrating this year's walk which promotes good health and safety.

Schools use the day as a good lesson about taking care of the environment and as a time to remind children and motorists about traffic safety, especially in school zones.
