OKLAHOMA CITY -- A man was shot six times near 50th Street and Morgan Road Monday afternoon, according to Oklahoma City police.
An off-duty Oklahoma City police officer found the man covered in blood walking along Highway 66 near the Kilpatrick Turnpike.
"At this point the only thing we know about the victim is he is a male victim and he was shot multiple times," said Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow.
The man was taken to an area hospital. His name has not been released and he remains in critical condition.
"The suspect description given by this man was a Hispanic male who was driving a maroon GMC Envoy. There was some kind of altercation that occurred between the two men before the shots were fired," said Sgt. Wardlow.
Police are currently searching for the suspect.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police.
