Farewell Ceremony Held for Deploying Oklahoma Soldiers

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A farewell ceremony was held Sunday for more than 80 soldiers getting ready to deploy for a peace mission.

They are joining the Multi-National Force & Observers mission which works to keep peace in the Sinai Peninsula. Troops will provide logistical, administrative and medical support there.

Members of the National Guard were first deployed to the Sinai in 2003.

The ceremony was held at the Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College at 2 p.m.
