Beauty School Students Offering Free Hugs Today

NORMAN, Oklahoma – Future beauty professionals from Paul Mitchell Schools are offering free hugs today, including at Reaves Park in Norman.

This is the second nationwide Free Hugs Day, which was inspired by the Sick Puppies YouTube music video about Juan Mann's popular Free Hugs campaign.

Imagine Paul Mitchell School will be at the Reaves Park in Norman Oklahoma at 1 p.m. to offer free hugs to Oklahomans.

"As members of the beauty industry, we're in the business of helping people look beautiful. More important, it's part of our ‘be nice' culture to help people feel beautiful. Our Free Hugs campaign is just one of the many ways our Future Professionals show their passion and compassion in their local communities," said Winn Claybaugh, Dean and Cofounder of Paul Mitchell Schools.

Future Professionals from the network's other schools will also head to popular spots in each city to offer hugs and the events will take place simultaneously in every time zone nationwide.
