OKLAHOMA CITY -- Governor Brad Henry declared a State of Emergency Thursday for 13 counties that sustained damage from Tropical Storm Hermine as it moved through the state.

Tornadoes were reported in Lone Grove, Marietta and Colbert Wednesday. Several areas in southern Oklahoma sustained damage from flash flooding.

The counties included in the declaration are: Adair, Bryan, Carter, Cherokee, Delaware, Haskell, LeFlore, McIntosh, Muskogee, Ottawa, Pittsburg, Sequoyah and Wagoner. Additional counties can be added if necessary.

The declaration allows local governments to seek reimbursement for recovery costs through the state's disaster public assistance program and could lead to federal aid if necessary.
