Police Search for Two Male Shooting Suspects in South Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police say a woman is recovering after an early morning shooting in south Oklahoma City.

Officers were called to the Redding Square Apartments near the Tinker Diagonal at about 4:30 a.m. There they found Valerie Loftis lying on the couch with a non-life-threatening bullet wound to the arm.

Loftis said that two men had returned to the apartment to steal what remained of a stereo system after robbing the place at about 1 a.m. A scuffle ensued and she was shot.

Police are looking for two white males in white tank tops who fled the area.
