Police Led on High-Speed Pursuit in Northwest OKC, 2 Suspects Arrested

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police were led on a high speed chase on the northwest side of the city.

Police said the chase started when an officer was responding to a burglary in progress and saw a truck speeding away from the scene.

The chase began near 58th Street and Portland Avenue and became a foot chase near 39th Street and Lake Hefner Parkway.

The suspects fled their vehicle and began running from officers. The suspects fled into a neighborhood and police were able to arrest both men.

Police arrested the first suspect in the back yard of a house near 40th Street. The second suspect was taken into custody near Grand Boulevard and 42nd Street on the west side of Lake Hefner Pkwy.
