NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Defense attorneys are to begin presenting their case for a Noble woman charged with first-degree murder in the death of her 6-month-old daughter.

Cleveland County prosecutors rested their case Tuesday against 25-year-old Heather Trask. The defense is to begin its case Wednesday morning.

Prosecutors say Trask allowed her husband -- Jonathan Trask -- to abuse Mackenzie Trask. The girl died April 6, 2006, of what medical examiners say were head injuries.

Defense attorneys say Heather Trask was at work when the infant was injured and that there is no evidence she knew of the abuse.

Jonathan Trask was convicted of first-degree murder in the baby's death and is serving life in prison.
