OKLAHOMA CITY -- Tax Day is looming. April 15 is next Thursday. If you haven't filed your taxes yet, free help is available to those who qualify.
There are four Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites in Norman. Volunteers at these sites provide free assistance to taxpayers who earn less than $49,000. One of the sites has already saved $23,000 for the people they've helped.
Individuals need to make sure to bring the following documents to their appointment; a Photo ID, W-2s, 1099, Social Security cards for all family members and any other tax-related documents.
The four VITA site locations are:
