McALESTER, Oklahoma -- Officials say a train collided with a truck carrying inert 2,000-pound bombs at a railroad crossing at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant.
According to a news release, the collision occurred about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday. Plant officials said the bombs didn't pose any explosive danger.
The truck driver, whose name wasn't released by the plant, received cuts and bruises. He was treated at McAlester Regional Health Center and released.
Plant officials say three workers on the train weren't injured.
The locomotive belongs to the plant, and the truck was a Tri-State Trucking Transit tractor-trailer rig
