OKLAHOMA CITY -- A Tennessee man accused of rape was arrested in Oklahoma City while selling magazine subscriptions door-to-door.

Antez Dieffenderfer, 20, had traveled to Oklahoma from Tennessee working for the magazine company Interstate Subscription Services based out of San Antonio, Texas.

He is charged with a 2008 rape in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Dieffenderfer was apprehended by a bondsman from CJ's Bail Bonds. The company was made aware that Dieffenderfer had been working in Oklahoma City going to people's door selling magazines. After setting up a sting, CJ's Bail Bonds was eventually able to catch up to Dieffenderfer while at the Greyhound bus station in downtown Oklahoma City.

In 2008, he was a senior and football player for a local high school in Tennessee. Dieffenderfer is currently in the Oklahoma County jail where he likely awaits extradition back to Tennessee.

NEWS 9 tried calling Interstate Subscription Services for comment Friday afternoon, but officials said the company was closing for the day and no one would be able to speak until Monday.
