OKC Man with Sexual Contract with Girlfriend Faces Domestic Violence Charges

OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma City man, who admitted to engaging in an alternative sexual lifestyle, faces kidnapping and domestic violence charges.

Richard Wise's girlfriend, who he also admitted to having a written sexual contract with, went to the hospital with a black eye in February.

She told authorities the couple had an argument after a night of partying at a local club, and she was forced into Wise's car. On their way to his house, she said Wise punched her in the face injuring her eye. She claimed he also punched her in the stomach, taped her mouth with duct tape, handcuffed her and choked her several times that same day.

Wise said he is still together with the woman, but she is currently in Utah. NEWS 9 contacted the girlfriend, who said they are still a couple, and the entire incident was an accident.

In regard to the allegations, Wise would only say that the charges are "unfounded," and the violence was not anything outside of what he and the woman agreed to in a sexual contract.

But the Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater said you cannot have a contract to commit a violent criminal act against a person, and what happened between Wise and his girlfriend went beyond consent.

Wise has prior convictions involving prostitution, including maintaining a house of prostitution. The convictions are criminal misdemeanors.

Wise's preliminary hearing is set for March 25.
