Burglary Suspect Arrested After Driving Car into Pond

OKLAHOMA CITY – A burglary suspect was arrested this morning after driving his car into a pond, police said.

Police were called to a neighborhood near Memorial and County Line roads at about 3 a.m. after a resident reported a suspicious vehicle in the area.

Police said four men were stealing building supplies. When they arrived in the neighborhood, they followed the car.

The car drove into a pond. The driver escaped from the car and was arrested on burglary and larceny complaints.

Police are continuing to search for the other three men. Police divers reported the men were not in the car in the pond.
