OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police are cracking down on businesses that sell alcohol to minors.
After police caught LT Cigarette selling beer to minors repeatedly, they asked the court to take action. The convenience store will now not be able to sell any alcohol beverages for one year.
Police said the strong rules are important because they've seen low-point beer put too many people in danger.
"When you see the effects of that like we see, the death from fatality accidents or the individuals who are crippled, really shows that it is extremely serious," said Oklahoma City Police Capt. Patrick Stewart.
Right now there are warrants out for two employees of LT Cigarette who are accused of selling beer to minors.
