OKLAHOMA CITY -- A tip to the Consumer Watch hotline began an investigation into what happens if you leave the tip line on your restaurant credit card receipt blank.

One customer claims an unscrupulous server is out there. But while the Consumer Watch team looked into that, we found how easy it is for mistakes to be made on the restaurant's end.

Although the mistakes are unintentional, if you're not careful, it can cost you money. Tonight on NEWS 9 at 10 p.m., Consumer Watch shows you a few simple things to watch out for the next time you go out to eat.
