Armed Bank Robber Escapes Authorities in Norman

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- The FBI is searching for a man who robbed a Norman bank at gun point Wednesday.

Police said a man robbed a Bank of the West located at 2122 West Main Street around noon and took an undisclosed amount of cash before getting away on foot.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The man was described as wearing a black mask, jacket and dark colored pants.

The Bank of the West is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Anyone information about the crime should call the FBI at 405-290-7770.
