OKLAHOMA CITY – Firefighters battled an early morning house fire at 115 NW 24th Street near Robinson Avenue and I-235.

Fire crews said the roof collapsed as the fire spread throughout most of the house. The flames spread to a neighboring home, but firefighters were able to get that blaze under control.

It is unclear what started the fire, which started around 4 a.m.

Battalion Chief Todd Matthews said three people lived in the home, two adults and one small child. Neighbors said the family's only car was not at the house so officials hope no one was home at the time of the fire.
