Silver Alert Helps Find Another Senior

OKLAHOMA CITY -- An 85-year-old Lawton woman has been found after Oklahoma City Police issued a Silver Alert Tuesday afternoon.

Officials said Anyez Cruet was found safe at a Super 8 Hotel at 39th Street and the Interstate 35 service road.

Police said Cruet was in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death. Cruet is known to have attempted to travel to Amarillo in the past, according to police.

Anyez and Jorge Cruet recently moved to Lawton, but made frequent trips back to the metro for Jorge Cruet to see patients at a medical clinic.

"I had left her here because I went to work in the morning at the clinic and told her to wait and I would pick her up at the house," Jorge Cruet said.

Although she didn't have a car, Jorge Cruet left her with money and a cell phone.

By the time he returned from work at noon, Anyez Cruet was gone.

Jorge and Anyez have been married for 51 years.
