Oklahoma’s Own Ride Against Childhood Hunger
Thank you, thank you for your support of Oklahoma’s Own Ride Against Childhood Hunger benefitting the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s Food for Kids program. Because of your participation, we raised more than $86,000 -- which will provide nourishing food for 430 chronically hungry children every weekend for an entire school year!
More than 280 bikes and their passengers joined Stan Miller and our Grand Marshalls, the Masonic Fraternity of Oklahoma, for a beautiful Sunday morning ride from OKC to Mulhall. Against a backdrop of great live music, Indian Dancers, a car show, raffles and more, Lucille’s made everyone feel right at home as they served up an amazing BBQ for more than 500 people!
One in four children in our state struggles with hunger every day, never certain when or if they will have their next meal. Oklahoma’s Own News 9 is committed to ending childhood hunger in Oklahoma and, thanks to your support of this year’s ride, hundreds of children will have food on their table this year. Every penny raised through the ride goes to the Food for Kids program.
Working together, we are “Fighting Hunger…Feeding Hope”
