OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma City Police Burglary Unit is investigating several burglaries that occurred earlier this month.
According to Oklahoma City Police Sergeant Paco Balderrama, on January 5, 11 separate business burglaries were committed in various offices of the Deaconess Center where the suspect allegedly stole various medicines and electronic equipment.
On January 18, five additional burglaries were committed near Baptist Hospital on the northwest side of Oklahoma City where, again, several medicines and electronics were allegedly taken along with money. In all of these burglaries the doors were pried open.
"We're thinking someone might have seen something," Oklahoma City Police Master Sergeant Gary Knight said.
Surveillance cameras were able to capture images of a suspect and a suspect vehicle.
According to Balderrama, the suspect is described as a white Male, about 20 to 35 years-of-age, medium height and build, wearing black wind pants, a black sweatshirt and black ball cap. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark color, four-door Ford Explorer-type vehicle late 90's model.
"You're talking about someone really taking their time in there, so we believe he was probably seen," Knight said.
Police detectives ask that anyone having information on the identity of the suspect or where the suspect vehicle can be located to please call Crime Stoppers at 235-7300.
