OKLAHOMA CITY -- The holidays will be a lot brighter for several Oklahoma military families. Thirty-two men and women of the 137th Security Forces Squadron returned home Sunday after being in the Middle East for the past six months.

They arrived back just before noon at the Will Rogers Air National Guard Base.

One of the returning men got to meet his new born son for the first-time.

"I mean I've had pictures, but it's different seeing him like this and the kids have gotten so tall, so I missed them a lot," SSgt. Joseph Mabie said.

Mabie's wife said she's been waiting for her husband to return so they can put up the Christmas lights in their new home as a family.

The airmen were deployed to Saudi Arabia to help with on-going security related to Operation Enduring Freedom.
