Lightning sparks Edmond house fire

EDMOND, Okla. - A lightning strike started a house fire this morning in northeast Edmond.

The homeowner said the home in the 5900 block of Great Hampden Road was hit around 6 a.m. this morning.

The second floor of the home collapsed as a result of the fire.

All three people in the home escaped safely.
