Woman fatally shot at gas station

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A man was arrested Friday morning after allegedly shooting a woman at a northeast Oklahoma City gas station.

Mark Sanders, 22, was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a complaint of first-degree murder.

Police said he shot 33-year-old Ebony Howeth-Viney in the parking lot of Petro Truck Stop, 20 N. Martin Luther King Blvd.

"It's unclear why she or any of this occurred inside the truck, or why or what she was doing inside the vehicle," Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Gary Knight said.

Witnesses told officers that they had seen Howeth-Viney arguing with Sanders.
