OKLAHOMA CITY -- A 21-year-old woman was taken into custody Tuesday evening after leading police on a chase reaching speeds over 105 mph, authorities said.

Police were trying to pull Shaina Stewart over for speeding and failing to signal at Interstate 40 and Cemetary Road in Yukon. Stewart fled from the police, eventually leading them to Bricktown.

The chase came to an end at Joe Carter Avenue and Flaming Lips Alley where police were able to perform a Tactical Vehicle Intervention technique to spin the vehicle and stop Stewart.

Stewart was taken to the Oklahoma County Jail.
