OKLAHOMA CITY - One woman died and six people were hospitalized after two hit-and-run crashes Sunday afternoon.

Brittinie Bulock, 24, was arrested on complaints of second-degree murder and driving under the influence. Police said Bulock was driving a white Camaro and caused multiple collisions along Kelley Avenue at about 2 p.m. Sunday.

Bulock hit a car on NE 30 and Kelley Avenue, and as she tried to leave the accident, the Camaro hit a second car, police said. One minor injury was reported.

Bulock then sped down Kelley Avenue at speeds of over 80 mph, police said. She drove through a red light and collided with a blue mini-van at NE 23 Street. The blue mini-van flew into the air and landed on top of a white SUV, police said.

The blue mini-van had one woman driving, one woman in the passenger seat and two children in the back. The SUV also had two women in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

"I could see that people needed to be pulled out of cars and they were smashed in and people were bleeding and very disoriented," witness Victoria Dotson said. "We went to every car busting windows, doing whatever we could to make sure everybody was out."

Murry Phillis, the 71-year-old passenger of the blue mini-van, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other five victims, including the children, were taken to area hospitals.

One victim remained in critical condition while the others were in stable condition on Sunday night.

Fire officials had to pull Bulock out of the Camaro. She was taken to the hospital and was listed in serious condition after suffering two broken legs.

Bulock has been cited before for speeding and in 2006 she pleaded guilty to possessing illegal narcotics.
