TULSA, Okla. -- Police are investigating two bodies found in a field in east Tulsa.

According to police, 21-year-old Daniel Davis told them he shot 17-year-old Martin Marion and 19-year-old Derek Russell and dumped them in the field. Police said they then found two bodies near 41 Street between 145 Street and 161 E Avenue Thursday morning during a search for the teens.

Police officer Jason Willingham said police have arrested 21-year-old Daniel Davis on two complaints of first-degree murder in connection with the bodies found.

Police on the scene have not identified the two victims as that of Marion and Russell, but witnesses said they believe the victims to be the missing teens.

Marion and Russell disappeared July 30 after leaving home to walk to a convenience store.
