MEDFORD, Okla. -- An inmate escaped from the Grant County Jail Thursday morning, fleeing in a sheriff department's vehicle, authorities said.

Joshua Albright, 23, was awaiting transfer to prison. The ex-Marine was given two 20-year sentences this week for brutally robbing and terrorizing a 72-year-old legally blind woman from Lamont.

Albright is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds and having green eyes and blond hair.

Authorities said he stole a black 2008 Ford crew-cab pickup truck with "Grant County Sheriff" lettering on the side. There were no weapons in the vehicle, according to authorities.

Authorities said Albright is considered armed and dangerous.
